Looks like bigger isn’t always better now.
Forget giant bucket bags and toting around everything and the kitchen sink, it’s time to give our shoulders a rest.
Mini micro bags are in!
Our gadgets are now doing more for us than ever – now we can pay with our phones, use them as cameras, and have bus card slots in the phone holder. Honestly we can get away with carrying less.
Here’s some celebrities who have embraced the micro bag trend:
Emma Roberts went shopping in a light yellow sundress and a Mulberry Mini Seaton Bag.
In the meantime, Julia Restoin Roitfeld, Carine Roitfeld’s daughter, attended the Dior fashion show at Paris Fashion Week carrying a black Lady Dior Bag.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is office-chic in a sharp grey blazer and turtleneck, and carries the Fendi Micro Double Baguette.
I’m not a fan of this! Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also steps out in Gucci belt bag and pairs it with a leopard coat.
French actress Adele Exarchopolous walks down the streets of Paris during the Paris Fashion Week with a mini hat box. Oh no it’s not a hat box! It’s the Louis Vuitton Petite Boite Chapeau Bag!
Fan Bing Bing was also seen at Paris Fashion Week with an exotic version of the Louis Vuitton Petite Boite Chapeau Bag.
Three’s a crowd! Sophie Turner was also spotted carrying a Louis Vuitton Petite Boite Chapeau Bag in black at the Louis Vuitton show.
Oh dear, are fanny packs in style too? Elsa Hosk wears a red Chanel Belt Bag and matching red sunglasses.
Pink shares a little #throwback with the world in this Alexander McQueen Novak Mini Bag.
Paris Jackson and Kathy Hilton party together in style, with Paris carrying the Dior D’Adior Bag and Kathy carrying a Lady Dior Bag.
Ohh who remembers the popular Dior-monogrammed-logo bags in the 2000s? Winnie Harlow carried the Dior Mini Bag to a Dior show during Paris Fashion Week.
Saved my favourite mini bag for last – Winnie Harlow totes this tiny Lady Dior bag to the Dior 70th anniversary exhibition during Paris Couture Week.
While these celebrities look really chic and put together while toting these tiny totes, the truth is they aren’t very practical for everyday life. One way is to carry a normal-sized bag along with a tiny bag to run out during lunch or for errands.
Another way is to embrace the minimal – stop carrying so many unnecessary things around!
Much Love,
