Remember the hot pink Motorola razr phone?
In the early 2000s, everyone wanted one. I wanted one! Flip phones were uber cool.
Kim Kardashian might just be bringing them back to the height of fashion.
Kim showed off this tiny pink car on her Snapchat. It looked like a normal toy car at first, until it transformed. (I had to use that joke!)
Kim was also spotted in Tokyo Japan walking around with the pink Ferrari flip phone, as well as pink hair to match, and very questionable grey bike shorts.
I like that hair, but I really don’t like that outfit…
Anyway, the Internet is now speculating whether flip phones will make a comeback.
After all, the fashion industry sometimes comes back full circle, right? Flip phones were incredibly popular in the late 2000s, until touchscreens became popular and killed the flip phones.
Even Lenovo’s CEO Yang Yuanqing hinted that they might bring back the Motorola Razr.
But if you can’t wait that long, some companies are already jumping on the bandwagon and selling these cute phones. Here’s where you can get your very own sports car flip phone.
You can preorder it from Rich Girl’s Closet. This Pink Ferrari Flip Trap Phone retails at USD$115.00 and also comes in gold.
I don’t know why they are called trap phones?
The unicorn in me really wants one…
The website says it “ships within 7-15 business days from your purchase date”.
Shop Phone Fancy also sells the pink ‘trap phone’ for USD$129.00.
If I Ruled The World also sells these ‘trap phones’, the pink version retails at USD$80. Oops, they seem to be out of stock!
If you prefer to buy from Amazon, Newmind has these gorgeous car flip phones. They’re not Ferrari, but they’re pretty cool too.
OMG Store on Aliexpress also doesn’t sell pink phones, but look at these tiny phones! They’re the size of a lighter or a credit card.
While you can’t get a pink car flip phone, these colours look pretty awesome too. They come in red, gold, blue and black.
My favourites are the red and gold. Unfortunately you can’t surf the Internet with these phones, but you can text and make calls on them.
They would make excellent toys, or for children who need to call their parents after school.
*Disclaimer: I’m not affiliated with these online stores and have never bought from them before!
While I really hope you’ll get it and be happy with your purchase, I don’t know how many they’ve sold and how genuine the stores are! Buy at your own risk!
Also, if you’ve read this far, it’s time to let you in on a secret.
The phones don’t say Ferrari, they say Farreri.
I can’t believe no news outlets have picked up on this yet.
Are you in love with flip phones or can’t stand them?
